The Managing Director of Franklyn Ever Bright Limited, visited the Akwa Ibom correctional centre during the week when he donated food materials to hundreds of inmates and used the opportunity to thank Nigeria Prison Service officials in Akwa Ibom for a job well done.
Receiving the food materials on behalf of the Correctional Centre, the Assistant Comptroller of Correction, Mr. Julius Ogueri said the gestures would be emulated by well-meaning citizens and corporate organizations of the Akwa Ibom State origin.
While thanking Hon. Obonoh and his team, Ogueri made it clear that inmates are well behaved and are learning basic skills to make them meet the challenges of the outside world.
While vowing not to leave any stone unturned in continuing to assist the Correctional Centre with other needs, he urged good-hearted Nigerians to join in adopting a prison project that is aimed at donating food, medical and humanitarian needs to prisoners all over the country.
